Happy Mothers' Day to all you Single Mothers out there!

We hope you feel appreciated for the awesome sacrificial job you do and know that as we, A Reason to SMILE, grow we hope to do more to make you feel valued and appreciated.

Keep up the fantastic work! :-)

Don’t forget a single mother you know and help to celebrate her on this special day by choosing one or more of the following ideas or by using your own ideas:

1. Give her a card of encouragement and appreciation for the job she does.
2. Buy her some beautiful flowers to show she is special.
3. Give her a food hamper – containing practical and luxury items.
4. Buy her a voucher for a pamper – facials, massage, manicures, pedicures etc or put together a do-it-yourself kit for her to do at home.
5. Take her out to lunch or for a coffee – your shout!
6. Make her some babysitting vouchers from you, so she can have a well deserved break! Make sure you know her and her kids before you do this!!!!
7. Give her some movie money and offer to look after the kids while she has time out with friends.
8. Clean her house or do some washing for her – don’t forget to check with her first!
9. Mow her lawns and/or weed her garden for her.
10. Clean her car – full service, inside and out!

These are just a few ideas to start you thinking about rewarding a single mother you know – it could be your own mother, a friend or family member, a neighbour, a workmate or anyone.

You may be a single mother yourself and want to support another single mother – that’s great!

Single Mothers - don’t just sit around and wait for it to happen to you - celebrate yourself!!! You are so worth it!

SMILE TIP: If you are a single mother you could do a child swap with another single mother – You treat her this weekend and she treats you next weekend etc.
Or celebrate each other on Mothers’ Day by taking the kids out to the park and have a picnic together with other single mothers.

Well here we are just over one week till the launch and excitement is brewing...Excitement is another word for stress I must add.

Anyways, there are some people that I just want to publicly Thank b-cos with out you, for real this wouldn't be anywhere near what it is now!

First of all, Thank you God for so faithfully providing our every need... we couldn't and wouldn't walk without you. Thank-you to our CCF family & leadership for your support, encouragement, love and wisdom. We are so blessed to be a part of such a beautiful fellowship.

Thank you to our "little brothers", Andrew McCormack who so designed with such talent- a website, a great Logo and beautiful business cards. & to Dennis Gedye, yet another talent who has spent many long nights on designing what we "had in our minds" but probably didn't explain well... thanks for holding it in there, we ADORE our Invites, Water bottle labels, Thank you cards and posters... you have both done an amazing job and we truly appreciate your support!!!

Thank-you to Venusi Jnr Taumoepeau & the crew for the excellent job done on our advertisement. It has been a long process, and we appreciate you enduring with us. Also to our stunningly talented actors... Rikelle Collins, Rachael & Helena Lafatanoa, Fiona Perese & beautiful children... you guys were so amazing as were our "group scene" extras... Hollywood watch out!!!

Thank you to Brad Stent and Nik Carlson who are both so amazingly gifted, the song and arrangement is so inspiring...Thank you for believing to do this!

Thank you to our first financial benefactor, who doesn't know just how much believing in our dream enough to give to us really meant.
